SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. On a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form, you enter a value in a Multiple-Selection List Box control. Then, you press ENTER to move out of the control. In this scenario, you may lose the value that you entered.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not press ENTER to move out of the control. Instead, press TAB, or click a different location on the form.

Steps to reproduce the problem
- Start InfoPath 2007.
- Click Design a Form Template, click Blank, click to clear the Enable browser-compatible feature only check box, and then click OK.
- Add a Multiple-Selection List Box control to the form.
- Double-click the Multiple-Selection List Box control.
- In the Data type list, click Whole Number (integer), and then click to select the Allow users to enter custom values check box.
Note This problem also occurs when you click one of the following items in the Data type list:
- Decimal (double)
- Date (date)
- Time (time)
- Date and Time (dateTime)
- Click Add, and then type a value. For example, type 1.
- Click OK two times.
- Click Preview, and then enter a value in the Multiple-Selection List Box control.
- Press ENTER.
