SYMPTOMS
Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework 1.5 is incompatible with the following:
- The 2007 Microsoft Office system
- The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix. This hotfix installs Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework 1.6.
The Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework 1.6 hotfix addresses compatibility issues with the 2007 Office system and with the .NET Framework 2.0. Additionally, the hotfix incorporates other miscellaneous fixes.
Note Solutions that are based on Information Bridge Framework 1.6 require the .NET Framework 2.0. Additionally, these solutions will run with the 2007 Office programs. There are no additional features in Information Bridge Framework 1.6 that use the new capabilities of the 2007 Office programs.
