INTRODUCTION
Microsoft has released a new version of Windows Live Toolbar 3.0 and its add-ons. These upgrades let Windows Live Toolbar 3.0 integrate with other Microsoft products and provide more features and functionality. Stability and compatibility improves are also featured. The preferred method to upgrade to Windows Live Toolbar is to use Microsoft Update. If you manually download and install an updated version of Windows Live Toolbar 3.0, some of the features from the earlier version may persist and conflict with the updated version. To successfully update Windows Live Toolbar manually from any earlier version, you may have to remove your current version of Windows Live Toolbar 3.0 before you install the new version. When you remove your current version of Windows Live Toolbar 3.0, you may lose stored settings and data.
This update is strongly recommended.

Updating Windows Live Toolbar by using Microsoft Update avoids creating any conflicts between the earlier version and the current version. System requirements
- You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or a later version installed. However, Microsoft Internet Explorer does not have to be the default browser.

- Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4
- We recommend 1024 x 768 screen resolution.
- If you also install Windows Desktop Search, you must have the following system requirements:
- To index and to search your e-mail messages, Windows Desktop Search requires one of the following versions of Microsoft Outlook:
- Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later versions
- Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 or later versions
- To see a full preview of Microsoft Office documents in your Desktop Search results, you must have Microsoft Office XP or a later version installed.
- You must have a Pentium 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or better. 1 gigahertz (GHz) is recommended.
- You must have a minimum of 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM. 256 MB of RAM is recommended.
- We recommend 500 MB of hard disk space. Your index size depends on how much content you have on the hard disk drive.
- To index and to search your e-mail messages, Windows Desktop Search requires one of the following versions of Microsoft Outlook:
