SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0:
- You use the Send Direct E-mail functionality to send an e-mail message.
- The subject line of this e-mail message contains one or more of the following special characters:
- ampersand (&)
- less than sign (<)
- greater than sign (>)
- quotation mark (")
In this scenario, the following HTML code is displayed instead of the special characters in the subject line of the e-mail message:
- &
- <
- >
- "
