SYMPTOMS

When you make a change on your Zune device and then immediately restart your Zune device, your Zune device does not save the change.

CAUSE

To help optimize performance, the Zune device does not immediately commit all changes to memory.

THINGS TO TRY

Try one of the following methods:

  • To help commit the change to memory, access content that you have not recently listened to. This action causes changes to be committed to memory.
  • After you make a change, wait at least three minutes before you restart your Zune device.
