Actual slide show transition time between pictures differs from the setting on your Zune device

Article ID: 926010

Article Last Modified on 9/20/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Zune Digital Media Player

SYMPTOMS

You set the transition time for a picture slide show on your Zune device. But when you play the slide show, the actual transition time between pictures differs from that setting.

CAUSE

The transition time varies with the number of pictures that you have in the folder. This is a known issue with the Zune device.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. To affect the transition time, change the number of pictures that you have in the folder.

The more pictures that you have in the folder, the longer the transition time will be between pictures in the slide show. For example, a folder that contains approximately 20 pictures will display each picture for about three seconds. A folder that has approximately 500 pictures will display each picture for about nine seconds.
