SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario:
- You install Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) 2003 x64 Edition on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 Edition.
- The language version of SPS 2003 x64 Edition is Hebrew or Thai.
In this scenario, the installation is unsuccessful, and you receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This issue occurs because the Hebrew version (11.0.5705.0) of SPS 2003 x64 Edition and the Thai version (11.0.5716.0) of SPS 2003 x64 Edition are not recognized by Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 Edition.
RESOLUTION
