SYMPTOMS

An event that resembles the following event (Event ID 9514) may be logged in the Application log on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSExchangeIS
Event Category: General
Event ID: 9514
Computer: Exchange_Server_Name
Description: Two objects in the Directory have the same proxy - /dc=com/dc=domain/ou=OU_Name/cn=Object1 and /dc=com/dc=domain/ou=OU_Name//cn=Object2.

Additionally, mail flow to the objects that are specified in the event description may be disrupted.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if one or more objects are updated at the same time from different management consoles that connect to different domain controllers.
