SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You create a follow-up activity for an entity. Then, you click Save or Save and Open. In this scenario, some fields are not automatically populated in the follow-up activity form.

If you create a follow-up activity for a Fax entity, the following fields are not populated automatically:
- Sender
- Recipient
- Fax Number
If you create a follow-up activity for a Phone Call entity, the following fields are not populated automatically:
- Sender
- Recipient
- Phone Number
- Direction Code
If you create a follow-up activity for an E-mail entity, the following fields are not populated automatically:
- From
- To
- Cc
- Bcc
If you create a follow-up activity for a Letter entity, the following fields are not populated automatically:
- Sender
- Recipient
- Address
- Direction Code
If you create a follow-up activity for an Appointment entity, the following fields are not populated automatically:
- Required
- Optional
- Organizer
If you create a follow-up activity for a Service Activity entity, the following field is not populated automatically:
- Resources
