This Support WebCast discusses the purpose of certificates in Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 and describes how to appropriately deploy certificates for common scenarios. These scenarios include Remote Access, multiple pools, Director or Access Proxy arrays, Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access, and public instant-messaging (IM) connectivity (PIC).

This is a Level 300 session presented by Shawn Mahan.

Shawn is a support escalation engineer for the Microsoft Office Live Communications Server Team. He has been supporting Live Communications Server for the last year and will shortly be joining the beta support team for Office Communications Server 2007. Before joining the Live Communications Server Team he has spent time supporting Microsoft Directory Services products, including Certificates and PKI.
