Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to the file.

How to exclude task items in the migration

After you install the latest version of "Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes," you can control the migration of task items by using a control file and the TASKS entry in the control file. To prevent the migration of task items, you must make the following entry in the control file:

TASKS, FALSE

Note The control file is a text file that can include entries to customize several parameters in the migration process.

To use a control file, run "Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes" at the command prompt by using the following command:

Notesmig.exe /Drive_Letter:\Path\Control_File_Name.txt

How to include task items in the migration

If you want to migrate task items, you must run "Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes" without using a control file. Or, you must change the previously mentioned entry in the control file to the following entry:

TASKS, TRUE

After you migrate the items, you can see the task items in the Calendar folder.

STATUS

This problem was first corrected in the November 2006 Web-release version of "Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes."
