Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue:
925875 Word 2003 stops responding (hangs) when you try to use the "Detect language automatically" feature
This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- You try to save a file in Word 2003. When you do this, the default location to save a file is the user profile folder instead of the My Documents folder. This issue occurs when the computer is disconnected from the network.

Prerequisites
The full-file version of this hotfix package is also the administrative version of this hotfix package. You can install this version of the hotfix package on a computer that is running Office 2003 Service Pack 2 or Office 2003 Service Pack 1. However, we have tested this hotfix package more extensively on Office 2003 Service Pack 2 than on Office 2003 Service Pack 1. If you install this hotfix package on a computer that is running Office 2003 Service Pack 1, some file conflicts might occur. We support this configuration, but we do not recommend it.
