APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Office Access 2007

SYMPTOMS

When you double-click an OLE Object field in a Microsoft Office Access 2007 database table to try to open an Access 2007 database file, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Windows cannot open this file:

  3. Select the Access 2007 database file icon in the left pane, and then click Save Contents on the File menu.
  4. Type the name of the Access 2007 database file in the File name text box, and then click Save.
