SYMPTOMS

When you run an application that is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 with Service Pack 1 on a Microsoft Windows 2003-based computer, you may experience any of the following symptoms:

  • The computer stops responding. You have to restart the computer.

This problem occurs because the number of file mapping handles that are allocated to the process that uses the Corperfmonext.dll file continues to increase. Therefore, available memory decreases.
