FIX: Error message when you use the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 to process SWIFT messages on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003: "Attempted to read or write protected memory"

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 to process SWIFT messages, you may receive an error message in the Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) tool. The error message resembles the following:

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory.

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

  • The BizTalk host is configured to run in 32-bit WOW emulation mode on a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
  • You submit a Microsoft Office InfoPath message to the Message Repair & Submission Runtime (MRSR) orchestration.


CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Mrsrhelper.dll assembly does not run correctly in a 64-bit environment.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
