The status bar is not updated when you switch between multiple calendars in the Calendar pane in Outlook 2007

Article ID: 923939

Article Last Modified on 4/25/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You add multiple calendars to the Calendar pane in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. For example, you add a Calendar list from a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) Web site to Outlook 2007. You view the calendars in side-by-side mode. In this scenario, when you click to select the check boxes in the Calendar pane to switch between calendars, the status bar is not updated.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the status bar only displays the status for the calendar that is selected when the Calendar pane becomes active. Therefore, the status bar does not show the status of the other calendars when they are enabled or disabled.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
