SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft ActiveSync to synchronize e-mail between a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based device and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, the synchronization process is unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive the following message in the ActiveSync interface:
If you click Resolve Items, you receive the following warning message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs when Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software for Pocket PCs is not installed on the Windows Mobile-based device. Outlook 2007 is supported only by Windows Mobile-based devices.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
