INTRODUCTION
This article describes the Outlook 2003 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 12, 2006.
Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue:
920061 Changes that you make to a meeting request as a delegate are not saved in the local calendar of the owner of the mailbox in Outlook 2003
This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- You modify the list of recipients for a single occurrence of a recurring meeting request. If you then use the Outlook Object Model to programmatically read the modified list of recipients when the occurrence is saved, the Outlook Object Model may return the original list of recipients for the occurrence of the recurring meeting request.
- You read a message that is delivered to a personal folder (.pst) file in Outlook 2003. The message has a read receipt. However, the receipt is not sent to the person who sent the message. This issue occurs only if Outlook 2003 is not configured to run in Cached Exchange Mode.

887616 Description of Office 2003 Service Pack 2
- The full-file version of this hotfix is also the administrative version of this hotfix. You can install this version of the hotfix on a computer that is running Office 2003 with SP2 installed or Office 2003 without SP2. However, we have tested this hotfix more extensively on Office 2003 with SP2 installed than on Office 2003 without SP2.
