SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You create a Web page. The following conditions are true:
- The Web page contains a table.
- The table contains an <iframe> element.
- The <iframe> element is in a row that is underneath the first row in the table.
- The <iframe> element contains a form.
- The form contains a text input field.
You view the Web page in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6. The AutoComplete feature is enabled. In this scenario, when you type text in the text input field, the AutoComplete box does not appear in the correct location.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the window.screenTop property value is calculated incorrectly.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl - On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
- Type FEATURE_SKIP_ROW_IN_OFFSET_HEIGHT_CALCULATION_KB920681, and then press ENTER.
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type iexplore.exe, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click iexplore.exe, and then click Modify.
- Type 1, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
