SYMPTOMS

When you run Microsoft Windows Server 2003 under a heavy load, Windows stops responding. Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

STOP: 0x0000000a (00000063,0000001c,00000000,8011baae) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a race condition in the Memory Manager. This hotfix enforces synchronization in the Memory Manager.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

STATUS
