SYMPTOMS

When you print a record from the Forms tool in Groove Virtual Office or in Groove Workspace, only the visible sections of the fields in the form are printed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, modify the form to make the Text - Multiline field large enough to display all the text. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Forms Manager, click Modify Form, and then click the form name.
  2. Click Text - Multiline in the list, and then click Modify.
  3. Click Height, type a value that you believe will display all the text, and then click Finish. You may also modify the width.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Save to Groove.
  6. Reopen the record to see the results of the change. If the form displays all the text, print the record.

If you prefer the original display, you can restore the field to its original size after you print the record.

Note To use this workaround, you must be able to edit forms. This capability is provided with the Professional Edition and Project Edition of Groove. Additionally, this capability may be restricted by role in a particular workspace and tool.
