SUMMARY
Microsoft has released the Outlook 2003 post-Service Pack 2 hotfix package for the Japanese and the Hungarian versions of Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.

INTRODUCTION
This article describes the Outlook 2003 issue that is fixed in the Japanese and the Hungarian versions of Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 post-Service Pack 2 hotfix package that is dated March 14, 2006.
Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you open an assigned task in Japanese version of Outlook 2003, the task does not appear.
This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:- You are logged into a Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) or Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) e-mail server.
- You have installed the Outlook 2003 security update that is dated January 10, 2006.

- The optimized version of this hotfix is a post-Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2 hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Office 2003 Service Pack 2 installed. - The full-file version of this hotfix is also the administrative version of this hotfix. You can install this version of the hotfix on a computer that is running Office 2003 with Service Pack 2 installed or Microsoft Office 2003 with Service Pack 1 installed. However, we have tested this hotfix more extensively on Office 2003 with Service Pack 2 than we have on Microsoft Office 2003 with Service Pack 1. If you install this hotfix on a computer that is running Microsoft Office 2003 with Service Pack 1, some file conflicts might occur. We support this configuration, but we do not recommend this configuration.
