SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You have an application that uses Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2. Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 is included with Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004. The application queries an IBM DB2 database. In this scenario, the application may report various errors when the application processes the query results.
For example, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS) uses Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2. When DTS queries an IBM DB2 database, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
The errors that occur vary depending on the application that calls Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because one record in the reply from the IBM DB2 database is split across two Query Answer Set Data (QRYDTA) replies.
