SYMPTOMS
When you run the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based version of the Domain Controller Diagnostics Tool (Dcdiag.exe) with the /a and /c options on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based domain controller, the Dcdiag.exe tool crashes with an access violation.

WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, do not run the VerifyEnterpriseReferences Dcdiag.exe tool test. You can use the following command to skip the VerifyEnterpriseReferences test:
dcdiag /a /c /skip:VerifyEnterpriseReferences
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
