SYMPTOMS
When you change the Microsoft Management Console in Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 R2, the changes are not saved. For example, when you add a printer to the console, close the console, and then reopen the console, the printer is no longer listed.

Prerequisites
You must be running an R2 version of Windows Server 2003 to install this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must close and then reopen the Microsoft Management Console for the changes to take affect.
