SYMPTOMS

After you run a program for approximately 8 hours on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer, the program may stop responding and you may receive an error message that is similar to one of the following error messages.

Message 1

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

Message 2

System Error 1450

Hotfix information

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Windows Server 2003 SP1 installed on the computer.

Note Service Pack 1 is included in x64-based versions of Windows Server 2003.
