SYMPTOMS

A server that is configured for Cluster Services may not prune printers on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based server cluster that is configured as a printer spooler. This problem may occur if Kerberos authentication is disabled. This is the default setting.

You expect the server to stop a cluster printer spooler and prune printers whether Kerberos authentication is disabled or enabled.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
