SYMPTOMS
You are using the SCardControl function to transfer lots of data to a universal serial bus (USB) smart card reader that is on a Microsoft Window Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer. The smart card reader is using the in-box USB Chip/Smart Card Interface Devices (CCID) class driver (Usbccid.sys). In this case, you may receive a Stop error on a blue screen.
Additionally, if you remove the USB smart card reader when an application is accessing the reader, the USB ports may become non-functional.
