SYMPTOMS
On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, high CPU utilization occurs and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) may stop responding. You experience this problem when the following conditions are true:
- You install a Windows Forms-based application that runs Web services and COM+ stateless server components.
- You turn on the hyper-threading feature in the computer BIOS.
- The application accesses an Oracle Database database or a Microsoft SQL Server database.
