SYMPTOMS
On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows Server 2003, you may encounter a slow performance issue when Message Queuing is updating data files. This issue causes any program to stop responding for several minutes, only if the program is using Message Queuing.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Message Queuing generates too many disk I/O requests in some specific conditions.
