- Microsoft CRM 1.2
SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You add columns to the Advanced Find View in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2. You perform a search that uses the Advanced Find View. When you print or preview the results of that search, the primary column for the Advanced Find View does not appear in the generated output.
For example, after you add columns to the Advanced Find View on the Account Customization page in Microsoft CRM 1.2, the Account Name primary column does not appear when you print or preview the search results.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you add or modify columns to the Advanced Find View to increase the total width of the generated output. If the width is more than 675 pixels when the search results are rendered in the Advanced Find View, the primary column is truncated from the Print Preview window and from the printed document.
RESOLUTION
Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
904435 Update Rollup 2 is available for Microsoft CRM 1.2
