SYMPTOMS
One or more of the following events appear in the System event log on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer:
Event ID: 11
Source: SCSI miniport driver
Description: The driver detected a controller error on Device\ScsiPort1.
Event ID: 15
Source: SCSI miniport driver
Description: The device, \Device\ScsiPort1, is not ready for access yet.
Additionally, clients may be disconnected from the Windows Server 2003-based computer.
CAUSE
This problem may occur under high stress conditions. The problem occurs because of an error in the SCSIPort driver. This error generates Event ID 11 and event ID 15. Additionally, this problem may cause network timeouts if remote computers are accessing data on the drives that are using the SCSIPort driver on the Windows Server 2003-based computer.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
