TECHNICAL UPDATES

August 9, 2005:

  • After the release of this bulletin, it was determined that the vulnerability that is addressed in this bulletin also affects Microsoft Office Word 2003 Viewer. Microsoft has updated the bulletin with additional information about Microsoft Office Word 2003 Viewer. Also, this bulletin now directs users to the updated version of Microsoft Office Word 2003 Viewer.
  • Customers who are not using Microsoft Office Word 2003 Viewer and who have previously installed the security updates that are provided as part of the original release of this bulletin do not have to install the new security update.
