SUMMARY

This article lists the Microsoft .NET Framework bugs that are fixed in the .NET Framework 1.1 Post-Service Pack 1 rollup package for System.dll. Each package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous .NET Framework rollup packages.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

  • 875500 FIX: You cannot share Internet Explorer proxy settings across users in the .NET Framework 1.1

  • 842171 The CPU usage may increase unexpectedly to 100 percent when you create a Console Application or a Windows Forms Application in the .NET Framework 1.1

  • 884537 FIX: You may receive a "System.Net.WebException" error message when you upload a large file over a SSL connection in the .NET Framework 1.1

  • 885274 You may receive an "HTTP 401 Unauthorized" error message when you use SOAP over HTTP and Visual C# .NET XML Web services on a computer that is running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
