SUMMARY

This article lists the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 bugs that are fixed in the .NET Framework rollup package for System.Web.dll, Aspnet_isapi.dll, and Aspnet_wp.exe. Each package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous .NET Framework rollup packages.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package:

  • 836868 FIX: Client-side caching does not occur when you use the OutputCache directive with the VaryByParam attribute

  • 841195 FIX: Slow performance and garbage collection heap memory fragmentation occur in ASP.NET

  • 841451 FIX: A Content-Type header that is incorrectly formatted causes the QueryString part of the URL to be decoded incorrectly in ASP.NET

  • 841998 FIX: Internet Explorer times out when it opens an ASPX page and when it uses Big-IP, SQUID Proxy Server software, SSL, and HTTP/1.0

  • 842044 Control the timeout value that ASP.NET uses when ASP.NET stores and retrieves session data from SQL Server 2000 through the sqlCommandTimeout property

  • 843400 FIX: Blocking problems may occur when you use SQL Server to store ASP.NET session-state information

  • 870633 FIX: The IRequestDictionary->get_Item() method may fail with a COR_E_SERIALIZATION exception in the .NET Framework 1.1
