SYMPTOMS
When you view a presentation in Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 and it is configured to run in kiosk mode, you can still use the scroll wheel on your mouse to advance or to return to slides during your Microsoft Office PowerPoint slide show. The same behavior occurs when the On mouse click check box is cleared for Slide transitions.
CAUSE
There is no resolution or workaround for this behavior. Computers that have a mouse with a scroll wheel allow for this behavior.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
