Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2000 hotfixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2000 hotfix release.

SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft SQL Server 2000, after you perform a self-update query, you may find that the non-clustered index is corrupted. You may also receive error messages that are similar to the following:
This problem may occur when the self-update query selects more than 3,000 rows of the table but not the whole table.
