SYMPTOMS
The data that the QueryDosDeviceA function returns is truncated.
CAUSE
This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
- The QueryDosDeviceA function that contains NULL as the lpDeviceName parameter is called on a computer that contains more than 32 KB of the MS-DOS-based devices' ASCII characters.
- The DefineDosDevice function defines the MS-DOS-based devices.
RESOLUTION
