Bug #: 14357 (Plato7x)

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 fixes are distributed as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2000 fix release.

SYMPTOMS

Drillthrough operations on a cube fail when the following conditions are true:

  • One of the source tables for a dimension has been assigned an alias.
  • A column from the aliased dimension table is included in the rowset that is returned from the drillthrough operation.

This problem only occurs if the current member of the aliased dimension is at the ALL level for the cell where the drillthrough operation is performed. When this problem occurs, you receive the following syntax error:

Unable to drill through. Data source provider error. Invalid object name ‘<alias name>’.;42S02
