SYMPTOMS
When you perform administrative tasks, you may receive the following error message:
You receive this error message after you follow these steps:
- You perform administrative tasks from a computer that is running one of the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Windows 2000
- You connect to a remote domain controller and then create a new user account or a new group account.
- You run the Delegation Wizard to grant access permissions to the new user account or the new group account.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the new user account or the new group account has not replicated to your local domain controller. The Delegation Wizard connects to the local domain controller on your local network. However, only the remote domain controller contains the new user account or the new group account.
