Article ID: 832630

Article Last Modified on 4/7/2006

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1

SYMPTOMS

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

  • An application is running that contains a Microsoft Windows Form.
  • The Windows Form hosts an ErrorProvider control and displays a modal form.
  • Other applications are also running.

If you try to activate the application that contains the Windows Form by using the ALT+TAB key combination or by clicking the application's taskbar button, the main form may not appear in front of other open application windows.

The modal form is brought to the front. However, the Windows Form that hosts the ErrorProvider control may remain behind the other application windows.
