SYMPTOMS

If a client is disconnected from a Terminal Server session on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server computer after the idle disconnect timeout setting is reached, and then the client reconnects to a Terminal Server session on the same computer, the client is not disconnected when the idle disconnect timeout setting is reached again.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the idle disconnect timer is not restarted when a client reconnects to a Terminal Server session.
