SYMPTOMS
When you use Run as to run a program in Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the user who runs the program is not the user who is logged on. In this scenario, a handle leak occurs, and you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
- The program uses an increasing amount of computer resources.
- Your computer is slow or unresponsive.
- The affected program displays an increasing number of open handles on the Processes tab in Windows Task Manager.
Note To view the Handles column on the Processes tab, click View, click Select Columns, click to select the Handles Count check box, and then click OK.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when you set the input language to Japanese in Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.
RESOLUTION
