SYMPTOMS

If you close a query window that has a file open in it or if you open a file in a query window that already has a file open in it, SQL Query Analyzer may randomly stop responding.

Note This problem occurs when you use SQL Query Analyzer from a command prompt or by using a GUI.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

Hotfix information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table.
