SYMPTOMS
When your program includes a Windows Form that contains a TextBox control and a ComboBox control, the drop-down menu may not appear when a user clicks the combo box, and you may receive an error message.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
