SYMPTOMS
When you view the Routing tab in Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator, the Routing tab displays fax area codes below 300 incorrectly by using unusual ASCII characters.
CAUSE
This problem may occur after you install the hotfix that is described in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
818664 GWART incorrectly writes area codes that are lower than 300
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

To start Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click Exchange 5.5 Administrator.
