SYMPTOMS
When you close a PowerPoint presentation, PowerPoint add-in files (.ppa ) that are referenced by the presentation in a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) project may unload. The add-ins are no longer displayed in the list of available add-ins in the Add-Ins dialog box. Because of this, you cannot reference the add-ins to use the add-in functions.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because a PowerPoint add-in that is referenced by a presentation is unloaded when you close the presentation. The add-in is unloaded even when PowerPoint is still running.
RESOLUTION
