Summary:
If the Microsoft Mail Notifier window appears while using the STEP function to step through a macro in Microsoft Excel version 2.20, the Notifier window cannot be closed until the Single Step dialog box is closed.
Clicking the Notifier’s close box, Read button, or Read Later button while the Single Step dialog box is open will generate a system beep.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Excel version 2.20. This problem was corrected in Excel version 3.00.
