WINDOWS | OS/2

Summary:

When setting up an external database in Microsoft Excel 3.00, the Logon button in the Source Connections dialog box may appear not to work.

Solution

None of the options displayed in the Available Sources list box are selected by default. The following steps will log you onto the option selected:

  1. Select the source that you want to log on to by clicking it with the mouse or using the arrow keys after pressing ALT+A.
  2. Click the Logon button.

For more information on using external database files, refer to page 58 of the “Q+E for Microsoft Excel User’s Guide.”

This is not a problem with Microsoft Excel 3.0 for OS/2.
