SUMMARY

Microsoft has confirmed the following to be a problem in Word version 4.00. This problem was corrected in the Word version 4.00a maintenance release.

Text typed after the change of insertion point properties is likely to be recorded with the wrong properties, if all of the following conditions exist:

  1. Many changes of character properties occur on the same page of text.
  2. Plain Style has been applied to an insertion point towards the top of the page.
  3. Background repagination is turned on.
